David currently serves as President of LEX Group, Inc, and Lexington Partners, Inc. During the past 18 years, he has been a principal investor in over 3,300 residential units. He has led the acquisition of nearly $200 million of multi-family assets in the Midwest and has been involved in all transactional and operational phases of the business. With a focus on acquiring distressed assets, David has directed renovation projects ranging from $500,000 to $5.0 million.
Before founding Lexington Partners, Inc., David worked in the Los Angeles office of a multi-billion dollar venture capital fund and for Investment Banks in New York and Chicago.
David holds an A.B. (Economics) from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. (Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies), with Honors, from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. A St. Louis native, David lived in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles before returning to his hometown where he currently resides with his wife and two daughters. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family and their pet Great Dane.
Andrew (Andy and “Coach Katter” to many) is a valued advisor and trusted colleague to the LEX Group, Inc. management team. As a licensed Missouri Real Estate Broker, founding principal at Lexington Partners, Inc., and legendary baseball coach in his spare time, Andy wears many hats.
Over the course of his nearly 30-year real estate career, he has been an active investor and operator in both the commercial and residential sectors with successful investments spanning a wide range of property types and price points.
Currently focused on building and maintaining relationships with outside equity partners, real estate lenders, and brokers, Andy has been an integral part of our business since the very beginning. A St. Louis native, Andy resides in a local suburb of the city with his wife and three daughters.
Jennifer has served as the Vice President of Property Management for over six years. She is responsible for supervising the daily operations and financial management of our multi-family communities. She has over 20 years of experience in property management and specializes in the operation of both market-rate and affordable housing. She has worked in a variety of markets in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, and Arkansas. Jennifer’s oversight includes new construction, full renovation projects, construction monitoring, repositioned assets, lease-ups, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Jennifer takes a team-oriented, hands-on approach to management and leadership development. She enjoys working closely with the staff and the residents across various properties.
When not at work, Jennifer enjoys spending time at home with her family - but she admits she always has work on the back of her mind!
Jennifer holds an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and holds a Missouri Real Estate License.
Mary has been the Property Manager at West Scenic Apartments for over 15 years. She is responsible for handling billing and rent, communicating with residents, scheduling maintenance and inspections, among many other duties. With over 20 years of property management experience, Mary is also an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
She is a three-time winner of the ARM of the Year for the Arkansas chapter of IREM. Her favorite part of coming into work is that each day is unique, and she appreciates the opportunity to work face-to-face with many great employees and residents. A self-described soccer mom, she spends her free time driving her son around between soccer practices and games.
Mindy has been the Property Manager at Hafner Court Apartments for over two and a half years. She manages all day-to-day operations at Hafner Court. She is responsible for interviewing and approving prospective tenants, collecting rent, managing communication with residents, scheduling inspections and maintenance, as well as many other important obligations.
With almost 15 years of property management experience, Mindy employs her expertise to ensure the apartment complex operates as smoothly as possible and that tenants are as happy as can be. Her favorite part of the job is being confronted each day with new situations and challenges that require her to think on her feet and adapt quickly. When she’s not in the office, she is busy taking care of her family and spending valuable time with her children.
Laura has been the Property Manager at Hunter’s Glen Apartments for almost a year. She is in charge of the daily operations at Hunter’s Glen. Her responsibilities include speaking to residents and prospects, posting rent, dealing with resident issues, scheduling unit inspections and work orders, along with many other tasks.
With over 30 years of property management experience, Laura is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and utilizes this expertise to oversee the property and run it efficiently. Her favorite part of work is handling residents and new prospects, getting to know them personally, and making sure they are fully satisfied. During her time off, Laura likes to work in her garden, cook, and go hikes in the many parks and trails around her.
